Supporting Performance: Action Learning

Action learning is based on real-life work and challenges. It helps you make sense of current issues that are affecting you at work and encourages you to experiment with new behaviours and solutions. A small group of people doing similar jobs will meet regularly with a facilitator to find solutions to issues they are facing in their work. The Performance Hub and Action Learning Matters are launching three Action Learning sets for those supporting third sector organisations to improve their performance. They are taking applications from individuals in the Yorkshire & Humber, East of England, East Midlands, West Midlands, North East and North West regions and the meetings will take place between November 2006 and April 2007. The closing date for applications is 1st October 2006. The Performance Hub and Action Learning Matters will contribute 40% of the overall cost of each set per person (£170). The total cost to your organisation per person is £250.
