Engage East Midlands

Engage East Midlands wasn't set up by the Government and it isn't run by civil servants. Engage East Midlands is an independent voluntary organisation that was founded in 1996 by volunteers from East Midlands-based voluntary and community organisations. We realised that the Government was moving forward with its policy to devolve power to the regions of England and we felt that it was crucial that the voluntary and community sector should have a strong voice within this regional structure.
