About Us

This site has been commissioned by Engage East Midlands as part of their work to help and support voluntary and community in the East Midlands region. Engage East Midlands is an independent voluntary organisation that was founded in 1996 by volunteers from East Midlands-based voluntary and community organisations. We at Engage realised that the government was moving forward with its policy to devolve power to the regions of England and we felt that it was crucial that the voluntary and community sector should have a strong voice within this regional structure.
